About

Daniel Brügger has been practising as an attorney since 2010. He advises companies, management board members, managing directors and executives on all matters of individual and collective employment law, including social security law and artists’ social security law. He is also a recognised expert in employment law for church institutions.

Profile

Daniel Brügger initially trained as a Diplom-Verwaltungswirt (FH). After advising on general commercial law in two interdisciplinary law firms, he has specialised exclusively in employment law since early 2014.

A key focus of his work is advising employers on collective employment law matters and conducting negotiations with employee representatives. Another focus is employment law for church institutions, covering both individual employment law under the Third Way and collective church employment law, including matters under the MAVO. This also includes representing clients in church conciliation committees and before church labour courts.

He also advises clients on the conclusion of management board and managing director service agreements. As a specialised litigator, he represents his clients’ interests before civil and labour courts throughout Germany.

Academic Work

Daniel Brügger has been a lecturer at various private and public universities since 2006. He is currently a lecturer in employment law at FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management in Hamburg.
